Tabana | Bison Hunt | 100% Silk Scarf

Tabana Bison Hunt 100% silk scarf scarf by our friends Kerr-Chief. 36×36” 100% silk scarf, double-sided and hand-rolled hem. “Tabana” is light blue with navy and orange details and named for the Comanche word for “sunrise”.

Chief’s newest two-tone design brings the movement of a bison hunt to life. More than seventy bison circle the composition, pursued by a dozen Plains Indian riders on horseback. Feather-bonnet wheels, sunbursts, pronghorn, and a thunderbird surround the scene, framed by a border inspired by Plains beadwork and quilling.

At the heart of Kerr’s drawing sits a tortoise, representing the passage of time and carrying the world upon its back. A quiet anchor amid the thundering herd.
