Buddy Lee Bolo Tie

Circa 1970s–1980s

A rare, collector-grade bolo tie by Choctaw master silversmith Buddy Lee Mossman, featuring a monumental natural turquoise cabochon framed by hand-cut multi-stone inlay in a radiating sunburst motif.

The design is distinguished by its highly unusual twin articulated turquoise drops, a detail seldom seen in bolo construction and indicative of one-off or exhibition-level work rather than commercial production.

Signed “BUDDY LEE” with Mossman’s feather hallmarks on the reverse, this is a documented masterwork from his mature period. Mossman is widely regarded among the most important Native American jewelers of the late twentieth century,
